Dear Brothers and Sisters,
It has been a few weeks since we celebrated mass and worshiped together. I miss seeing you and praying with you at our beloved Basilica. Each day I ask the Blessed Mother to watch over and protect you and your families during this confusing time.
The news is filled with so many medical personnel giving their time and sometimes lives to care for the victims of this pandemic. I admire their persistence and will to fight. They are in my prayers as well.
I am looking forward to the day when we can hear the sounds of our school children laughing, learning and praying together. They along with their families and teachers are in my prayers.
I also pray that the day will soon arrive when we will be able to open the Sister Isaac Center and the St. Mary Health Center so that we may continue God’s work of ministering to those who are most in need. In the meantime, the volunteers and guests are in my prayers.
We have survived hurricanes and other natural disasters, because of our faith in God, we will survive this pandemic.
Let us continue to pray daily and never give up hope.
Yours in Christ,
