Blessed is he who is coming in the name of the Lord! Matthew 29:9

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It is with great sadness that I announce today that neither myself, Fr. Chesco nor my staff will be with you for Palm Sunday. In order to comply with the quarantine period of 14 days.  Previously, I disclosed to you that one of the members of my staff tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.  It would be irresponsible for us to expose any of you to this terrible virus should we develop it.

The Knights of Columbus have graciously offered to hand-out the blessed palms for anyone who would like to receive them. On Sunday they will line up along Ann Street 15 feet apart and hand you the blessed palms.  No one can exit their vehicles.  I ask that you just crack your windows to receive them.  The knights will have gloves and masks on in order to ensure everyone remains as safe as they can.  Please join them between 8-10am.  This is not what we had planned for you a few months ago, but we have to adapt to the reality in which we are currently living.

I encourage you to continue praying for our sick staff member and ask you to pray for myself and Fr Chesco.  Palm Sunday reminds us that life is the most precious thing we have.  Be well and safe.  You are always in my prayers.

In Christ,

Fr. Ryszard
