Dear Brothers and Sisters,

A good part of Advent is behind us and Christmas Day is about to emerge soon on the horizon.

Shopping days are in full swing in stores and the internet. Hopefully the bulk of it is behind you and you can now relax a little. Although I am aware that the decorating, cooking and  baking is still to be done. If you haven’t had time to write  your  Christmas cards,  a phone call will always suffice.

With so many houses Santa has to visit, remember to leave him cookies and milk, and also don’t forget about carrots for his reindeer.

This Saturday Vanessa is going to celebrate her quinceanera. May the Lord guide her and bless her with many spiritual blessings.  I am happy for Vanessa  and her family.  Felicidades!

The same Saturday I will baptize several children. What a joy to have them initiated into the life of the Lord and our church. May God bless them and their loved ones.

The fourth Sunday of Advent will bring first Communions at the Basilica to conclusion. In the last four months I enjoyed seeing them partaking with us at the Eucharistic table for the first time. May they always carry Jesus close to their hearts.

That’s all the news for now.

With prayers,
Fr. Ryszard
