Brothers and Sisters of The Basilica Shrine of Saint Mary,
Our primary concern at this time is the holiness, health and safety of you, our parishioners. We are praying for all who have been impacted by the current health crisis, especially the sick and their caregivers. The spread of COVID-19 has truly impacted our parish, our local community, our country and the world. As a parish, we will continue to communicate with you about our pastoral ministry and parish activities frequently so that you are aware of any new or updated happenings.
Please continue to pray and support those most vulnerable – those with less stable employment, and parents who need to work and are unable to find childcare. In a special way, we want to support the elderly, sick and shut-ins who may feel isolated, lonely, or afraid. In the spirit of Lent, we ask that all embrace such works of mercy with zeal and to practice a spirit of gratitude and generosity to others, whether by using our time to pray, checking in with neighbors, or delivering groceries, or donating to those in need.
Please also know how grateful we are for your contributions of time, talent and treasure.
Join us in prayer for the repose of the souls of those who have died, for those who grieve the death of loved ones, for the recovery of those who are sick, for the strength of healthcare workers and caregivers, and for an end to this health crisis.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Fr. Ryszard, Pastor
Fr. Chesco, Parochial Vicar
