Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Autumn has officially been under way for over a week. It is a beautiful time to watch nature and feed the birds and squirrels. Hope you take care of all God’s living creatures both big and small. It is a wonderful example of how we need to be compassionate and empathic for each other.

Today we celebrate the feast of St. Teresa. In her autobiography “The Story of a Soul” she referred to herself as “The Little Flower”. According to saint Therese of Lisieux  we should love God in a childlike manner with confidence and self surrender.  Her words can serve as a motto: “What matters in life is not great deeds, but great love”.

Therese, Teresa, Theresa (however her name is spelled or pronounced around the world) is such a special name. If you know anyone by that name, say a prayer for them. Also pray to St. Therese for her special intercessions.

October is traditionally dedicated as the month of the rosary. Meditate on its mysteries.

With continued blessings,
Fr. Ryszard
