Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We should be proud of Wilmington for becoming the first WWII Heritage City in our country.

I want to salute all the World War II veterans, especially those in our beloved Basilica Shrine of St. Mary. Thank you for your service.

I am very proud of our St. Mary Health Center which provides medical and dental service to the needy and veterans. We have a fantastic team of doctors, dentists, nurses and staff directed by Laura Vinson (veteran herself). They are all volunteers who help because they have a giving heart. Thank you for your time and expertise.

The Knights of Columbus in our parish also  have veterans in their midst. They are well known in our community for their charitable and patriotic acts. Thank you guys for all you do.

Please pray for the veterans and their families.

In Christ,
Fr. Ryszard
