Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The era of Covid-19 is the tragedy that keeps people apart and also brings them together. Even though we do not participate in the sacramental life of the church we can still shine as the beautiful Body of Christ beyond the restrictions and separation. Our theology constantly teaches us that inside the church we are disciples of Christ. As soon as we leave the building we become His apostles (the ones who are sent). The present situation allows us to be the light of Our Savior and His good news of salvation to others.
Sometimes in the grocery store I run into our parishioners. I am very happy they recognize me with my mask on and ask: “How am I doing?” And I answer “Considering circumstances I am doing very well.” Hope you are too.
I miss you but remember we are all in this together.
With continued Easter blessings and prayers,
